Course Packs offer a fast and easy way to build your course. Available for most Cengage titles in WebAssign, a Course Pack is a free collection of ready-to-go assignments. Each Course Pack is fully customizable and contains multiple assignments such as homework, labs, and/or quizzes that have been carefully chosen by experienced WebAssign subject matter experts.
If you have any questions about whether your textbook includes Course Packs, find your catalog page by searching your title name or author. You can also contact your Cengage Representative for support.

Featured Course Pack Types
Once you’ve added a textbook or resource to your course, you’ll be able to access the associated Course Packs on the Class Schedule page in WebAssign, using the blue arrow drop down. Most textbooks include standard Course Packs that correlate to the chapters and topics covered in the title. However, you’ll find that there are also unique Course Packs available for select courses and resources that achieve a specific goal.
Textbook Course Packs
Most textbooks include a set of pre-built assignments mapped to learning objectives for all of your course needs packaged into one or two Course Packs. These included assignments are correlated to each chapter of your textbook.
Scaffolded Course Packs in Developmental Math
This new Course Pack follows one of our learning design principles, intentional design, and was created with a scaffolded approach in mind. It adapts a storytelling technique from literature and gaming design to mimic the flow of a lecture and how students master concepts. We’ve adapted a four-step framework: introduce, develop, twist, and conclude to offer a Course Pack that is now a self-contained and guided learning experience. It enables students to build their skills in an intentional, structured way through a steady lessening of guidance and support and a subtle increase in complexity as they work through an assignment. Math Mindset and College Success Modules
Accelerate your students’ success in your course—starting with the right mindset. Within your WebAssign course, assign interactive and reflective exercises on relevant topics—including study skills, growth mindset and Math anxiety—to introduce students to college and prepare them for challenging Math topics. This Course Pack is available automatically for Corequisite courses, or can be added through the free additional resources tab in WebAssign. Learn More
Corequisite Course Packs
WebAssign with Corequisite Support lets you customize the learning experience to meet any corequisite implementation model or teaching style. Each WebAssign with Corequisite Support course automatically includes pre-mapped content (via course packs) and resources for the prerequisite and credit course so you have the flexibility to deliver your course – whether an integrated, just-in-time course model, a separate support course or lab model, or a stacked model – to meet your institution’s needs.
